Interviews

Candidates book themselves. The invite keeps up.

Share your availability and candidates pick a slot within the buffers and deadlines you set. Calendar invites update in place when anything changes. In the interview, you can review their submitted screen with them in the room.

01

Paint your availability. The rules do the rest.

Drag across a week to mark the hours you're free, and Kendor cuts them into bookable slots with a buffer between each one. Choose when booking closes and how late candidates can move their own slot.

  • Intro, technical, team and final interviews, each with its own default length
  • Slots skip times your panel already has an interview
  • Or name one fixed time, or send your own scheduling link

02

Invites that update in place.

Every invitation carries a standard .ics file. Kendor keeps one UID per interview and raises its sequence on every move, so calendars replace the event instead of piling up copies, and a cancellation clears it.

  • Works with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar
  • Add to Google and a .ics download right on the booking page
  • Kendor never needs access to anyone's calendar

03

Reminders and emails in your own words.

A reminder goes to the candidate and the panel 24 hours before, and moves with the slot. If nobody books within 48 hours, Kendor nudges the candidate once. Every interview email can be rewritten in your team's voice, with fields filled in for each candidate.

  • Invitation, booking receipt, move, reminder, nudge and cancellation
  • Nudge again by hand whenever you want
  • The join link is required, so no edit can strand a candidate

04

Review the submission with the candidate.

Link an interview to their screen and the room opens the submitted code on a shared editor. Walk through it together, try a change, and save it as a new version while the original submission stays as it was.

  • Everyone's cursor is live in the same files
  • Reviewer comments sit next to the code
  • Turn AI agents on or off for everyone in the session

05

Every interview on one calendar.

The Interviews page shows your team's week: confirmed slots, live rooms and requests to move, filtered by job or interviewer. Interviews still waiting on a candidate sit above the grid, flagged when a nudge is queued.

  • Colors follow status, from awaiting to done
  • Times in your own time zone, theirs in the details

How it works

No email back-and-forth to find a time.

  1. Paint your availability

Pick the interview type and who's joining, paint the hours you're free and set the booking rules.

  2. Send the invitation

Kendor drafts the email for you to check. They pick a slot in their own time zone and the invite lands in everyone's calendar.

  3. Meet in the interview room

A reminder goes out 24 hours before. On the day, open their screen and review it together.

Questions

Do you sync with Google or Outlook calendars?

Not directly. Invites carry a standard calendar file that Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar all accept, and it updates in place when an interview moves.

What kinds of interviews can we schedule?

Intro calls, technical, team and final interviews — in Kendor's room or at your own video link — plus live pair coding sessions and live reviews of a submitted screen.

Can the candidate reschedule?

Within the rebook window you set, yes — they pick a new slot themselves. They can also ask for a different time or decline, and you'll see it.

Which time zone does the candidate see?

Their own, detected from the browser, and they can change it before booking. You keep seeing times in yours, and the emails name the time zone.
