# How to sign in or sign up with Google
Choose **Continue with Google** on the sign-in or sign-up page. Google tells Kendor who you are, so there's no password to remember and no email code to type.

## Sign up with Google

1. On the sign-up page, choose **Continue with Google** and pick your work account.
2. Enter your company's name. Kendor creates your workspace and signs you in.
3. Invite your reviewers, or skip that for now.

Sign-up with Google needs a **Google Workspace** account (an address on your company's domain). Personal Gmail addresses can't create a workspace, the same as with a password.

## Sign in with Google

Choose **Continue with Google** on the sign-in page. Kendor matches your Google account to your Kendor account by email address the first time, then remembers it.

- If a teammate invited you, signing in with Google using the invited address creates your account and adds you to their organization.
- If you already have a password, it keeps working. You can use either.

## When Google sign-in is refused

| Message | Why |
|---|---|
| **Your company signs in with SSO.** | Your organization requires single sign-on. Choose **Sign in with SSO** instead. |
| **Kendor accounts are for hiring teams.** | You picked a personal Google account with no invitation. Use your work account. |
| **Google can't confirm this address belongs to you.** | The Google account isn't a Google Workspace or Gmail account. Sign in with your password. |

Candidates don't sign in with Google: they open the link in their invitation email.
