# Invite your team and set roles
Everyone at your company works in one Kendor organization. Each member has one of three roles, and the role decides what they can change.

## Roles

| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| **Owner** | Everything an editor can, plus invite and remove members, change organization settings, and connect integrations such as code hosts and AI keys. |
| **Editor** | Create and edit screens, invite candidates, review submissions, record recommendations, and advance or reject candidates. |
| **Viewer** | Read screens, candidates, submissions and comments. Viewers can't invite anyone or record a decision. |

The person who set up the organization is its first owner.

## Invite a teammate

1. Open **Members & roles** in the sidebar.
2. Choose **Invite member** and enter their work email.
3. Pick a role. New members are **Viewers** unless you choose otherwise.
4. Choose **Send invite**.

They get an email with a link to join. Once they're in, you can change their role from the same page at any time.

## Which role to give

- **Hiring managers and interviewers** who review submissions and make the call: **Editor**.
- **People who only need to read along**, such as a recruiter coordinating the process or a stakeholder: **Viewer**.
- Keep **Owner** for the few people who manage settings and integrations.
